In this episode, myself and Roxane Vermeland speak about her challenges with Bilateral Breast Cancer, Medical Professional, Breast Implants, Breast Implant Illness, and how she ended up being diagnosed with Breast Implant Associated-Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma. She had to be her own advocate in her breast cancer journey and has now become an advocate for other women in spreading awareness and even petitioning the FDA with the GPACUnited group.
Roxane Vermeland, is a 60 year old woman who has been married for 25 years and is the mother of one daughter and grandmother to 3 granddaughters. She grew up in Illinois where she worked at Rush Copley Medical Center as a Center Secretary in the float pool for almost 20 years. Roxane moved to Verrado, AZ in September of 2020 after being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer to make a change and be happy again!
