I am your host, Marci Nettles. I have had a lifetime of opportunities where I had the choice to Breakdown or Breakthrough... did I always make the “right” choice? Nope. I did however find a way to continue moving forward until I was able to see there was a path through my chaos into joy. This Podcast may become your light in the darkness, as you listen to the stories of people I consider “heroes.” Each one had a point where they too had to choose to either Breakdown or Breakthrough!
In this episode you will hear the personal story of a father, whose daughter was raped... even though he is also a powerful warrior that fought for our freedoms and now fights for the safety of our children in the battle against child rape and sex-trafficking. This story is full of anger, fear, darkness, LIGHT, LOVE and the strength of a family that turned tragedy into a continuing purpose as they fight together to free the children of sex trafficking and abuse.
Craig “Sawman” Sawyer grew up near Houston, TX and got his tactical start in the U.S. Marine Corps. He quickly transitioned to the U.S. Navy to pursue high-level Special Operations as a U.S. Navy SEAL. As an Operator on the Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU), Craig gained critical combat experience that is now being utilized to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Because of his experience as a federal criminal investigator, Craig is uniquely qualified to run joint sting operations with law enforcement agencies and allied NGOs.
Sawman is now dedicating his life to raising awareness about the epidemic of child rape trafficking, rescuing victims, and putting predators behind bars. In 2017 He founded V4CR (Veterans 4 Child Rescue) which is comprised of military professionals, former/current law enforcement, civilians and those who are willing to do whatever it takes to end child trafficking in America now. They truly keep an eye on what is happening with the children!!
